Refund Overview

At MeraWedding Trust, we want to ensure a transparent and fair refund process. Since we facilitate verification services through third-party APIs, please read our refund policy carefully.

When Refunds Are Issued

Full Refund — Candidate Declines Consent

If the candidate (person being verified) refuses to provide consent or fails to complete authentication within 7 days, you will receive a full refund of ₹2,999.

Full Refund — Technical Failure

If verification cannot be completed due to technical issues on our end (e.g., system downtime, API failures), you will receive a full refund.

Full Refund — Cancelled Before Processing

If you cancel the request before any API calls are triggered, you will receive a full refund.

When Refunds Are Not Issued

Report Delivered

Once the verification report has been delivered to you, no refund will be issued regardless of the findings in the report.

Candidate Completes Authentication

If the candidate successfully completes the authentication process (Aadhaar OTP or UAN login), the payment is non-refundable even if you choose not to proceed.

Dissatisfaction with Report Content

We do not offer refunds if the verification reveals information you did not expect or are dissatisfied with. Our role is to provide accurate data from official sources.

Third-Party Data Issues

If the verification fails due to incomplete or unavailable data in government/third-party databases, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Refund Process

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at trust@merawedding.in with your request
  2. Include your order/reference number and the reason for refund
  3. We will review your request within 48 hours
  4. Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  5. Refunds are credited to the original payment method

Partial Refunds

In cases where partial data is available but complete verification cannot be performed:

  • If only Identity + Employment verified: ₹1,499 refund
  • If only Identity verified: ₹1,999 refund
  • Partial refunds are at our discretion based on verification progress
